Terms of Service

Welcome to Signature Gen (also listed on the App Store as Signature Generator: Esign) (“the App”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the App and form an agreement between you and Alessandro Pace (“I”, “me”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), the developer of the App.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Signature Gen is a utility that helps you create signature images. You can draw a signature, generate handwriting-style signatures from a name, or scan a photograph of a signature, then edit, organize, and export those images. The App is provided as a tool for creating images only.

3. Signature Images, Not Legal or Digital Signatures

The signatures created by the App are images of a signature. They are not cryptographic or “qualified” digital signatures, and the App does not verify identity, establish a digital certificate, or guarantee the legal validity, enforceability, or acceptance of any signature.

The laws governing electronic and handwritten signatures vary by country, state, and use case. You are solely responsible for determining whether a signature image created with the App is legally sufficient and appropriate for your purpose, and for obtaining professional or legal advice if needed. We make no representation that any signature created with the App will be accepted by any person, business, court, or government body.

4. Acceptable Use and Your Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only with signatures that you are authorized to create or use. In particular, you agree not to use the App to forge, counterfeit, or misuse another person’s signature, or to commit fraud, deception, or any other unlawful act.

You are solely responsible for the signatures you create and for how you use, store, and share them.

5. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, I grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own use. The App, including its design, code, and content, remains my intellectual property.

6. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Materials

The App includes licensed fonts and other third-party materials used in accordance with their licenses. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law.

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional in-app purchases and/or subscriptions (“Purchases”). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; Apple’s terms govern billing, renewals, and refunds, and entitlements are validated using RevenueCat. Some features may be available only with a Purchase. You can restore previous Purchases from within the App, and manage subscription auto-renewal in your device’s App Store settings.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how information is handled. By using the App, you agree to the practices described there.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App;
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, its features, or its payment systems;
• Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose; or
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.

10. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (such as Apple’s App Store/StoreKit and RevenueCat) for purchases and entitlements. Their respective terms and policies apply to your use of those services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. I do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that signatures created with the App will be legally valid or accepted by any third party.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App.

13. Modifications to These Terms

I may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. I may suspend or terminate your access to the App, or to Purchased features, at my discretion, including if you violate these Terms.
