Bolivars to Dollars ("the App") is developed and maintained by Alessandro Pace ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, how it's used, and the choices you have.

We designed Bolivars to Dollars to work without requiring an account and to minimize data collection.

1. What Bolivars to Dollars Is

Bolivars to Dollars is a currency conversion app that displays exchange rates between Venezuelan bolívares (VES) and US dollars (USD), euros (EUR), and USDT (P2P market reference). The App:

• Does NOT require you to create an account
• Does NOT collect or store your personal information
• Does NOT identify you as a person
• Works completely offline for cached data

2. Data We Collect

2.1 No Personal Information

We do NOT collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your location
• Your contacts
• Any personal identifiers

2.2 App Functionality Data

The App only collects what is necessary to provide basic functionality:

• Exchange rate data fetched from DolarApi.com
• Minimal app settings and preferences (stored locally on your device)

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

3.1 Google AdMob

Purpose: Display advertisements within the App

What Google AdMob may collect:

• Device identifier (non-personal, pseudonymous)
• App usage data for ad targeting
• General location information (coarse/city-level only)

Data Used For:

• Displaying relevant advertisements
• Ad performance analytics

3.2 RevenueCat

Purpose: Manage in-app purchases and subscriptions (if applicable)

What RevenueCat collects:

• Pseudonymous app/device identifiers
• Purchase status (active/expired/trial)
• Entitlement information

What RevenueCat does NOT collect:

• Your name
• Your email
• Your billing details (handled by Apple)

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

All App data is stored locally on your device:

• App preferences and settings
• Cached exchange rate data

This data remains on your device and is under your control.

4.2 No Cloud Sync

Bolivars to Dollars does NOT:

• Sync data to external servers
• Use iCloud for data synchronization
• Maintain a user database
• Store any data on our own servers

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your data.

We only share limited data with service providers when needed to deliver app functionality:

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and terms.

6. Data Retention

• App data: Stored locally on your device. You control retention by uninstalling the App or clearing app data.
• AdMob data: Retained according to Google's policies and settings.
• RevenueCat data: Handled by RevenueCat and Apple for subscription management and compliance.

We aim to minimize what we collect and keep.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You control your data:

7.1 Ad Personalization

You can limit ad tracking by:

• iOS Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Limit Ad Tracking

This will reset your advertising identifier and reduce the personalization of ads you see.

7.2 App Data

You can delete all App data by:

• Uninstalling the App
• Clearing the App's data in iOS Settings

7.3 Your Rights

If you are in the EEA/UK or other regions with privacy laws, you may have additional rights (access, deletion, restriction, etc.). Because Bolivars to Dollars does not maintain a user account database and does not collect personal information, most requests can be fulfilled directly by managing data in-app or through iOS settings.

8. Security

We rely on Apple's security features for device storage. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable steps to protect information and minimize unnecessary data processing.

9. Children's Privacy

Bolivars to Dollars is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not collect personal information from any users.

10. Analytics and Tracking

Bolivars to Dollars does NOT use:

• Mixpanel or any analytics services
• User identification or tracking
• Behavioral analytics

We do not track how you use the App beyond what is necessary for AdMob to display advertisements.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated policy is posted. We encourage you to review it periodically.
